The Summer Getaways show is a chance for SAWG artists to use the fundamental aspects of the practice of visual art through various water media to depict and share experiences that are important or memorable to them personally. Also allowed in this show are “encore” paintings. An encore painting is one that has been shown in a SAWG show before and can be more than two years old.  However, please note that a painting that won an award in a past show is not allowed.

Because this is not a point show, colored mats will be accepted. Please refer to the tools below for complete information and guidance for entering this non-point show.

To support the gallery and the shows, members entering artwork in a SAWG show are required to serve two to four days as docents during the time of the show they have entered, depending on the length of show.
