Framed - This piece reimagines Tucson's Ronstadt Transit Center through layered watercolor, ink, acrylic, and metallic thread on hand-painted cotton paper. Inspired by the geometry of the station's clock tower, I constructed a dimensional composition centered on radial symmetry and directional lines.
As an artist rooted in abstraction, this was my first time working with architectural subject matter. I approached the structure not only as a form but as a source of rhythm, using repetition, depth, and layered textures to evoke the pulse of time and the steady motion of routine.
Though the subject is still, Ronstadt Rhythm is a study in movement. It captures the visual cadence of a space shaped by schedules, structure, and momentum.
