Loisanne began painting in watercolor after retiring from her professional career in health care. She has studied painting with both regional and international artists including Sterling Edwards, Stephen Quiller, Ron Ranson, Tony Couch and others.
She is intrigued by the challenge of painting with watercolor because of its fluidity. Her chosen style is 'wet-on-wet', soaking the watercolor paper with water before applying watercolor paints with large brushes.
