I am a self- taught artist, with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona. My roots are the desert, as I was raised on a homestead in Yuma, Arizona. Realism and impressionism influence my art in watercolor, acrylic and pen and ink. I painted on collectible old wood frame windows for years and sold them at retail shops, art shows and online, under my business name of Old Window Art. Since being active with Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, I work more in the fine arts and enjoy the many advantages of membership, such as workshops, exhibiting in the SAWG Art Gallery location and their website online. The additional benefit is the camaraderie with other artists.
I offer classes in Basic Drawing and Watercolor at the SAWG Art Gallery and also at my home studio located in north central Tucson. Contact me for custom work, on canvas, in watercolor or on an old window. Look for a variety of my work at my new website: www.Sandrasfineart.com.
