Framed - I don't often use hot press paper, as I prefer how sedimentary pigments behave on a more textured surface, but in this case, the hot press paper worked for the immediacy of the piece. This is the east side of my yard when two colors of Leucophyllum (Texas Sage) were in bloom. This piece was painted in 2015.
