Yupo for Everyone!
November 2 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm$25
Are you asking, “What is Yupo?” Or perhaps you’ve tried working on Yupo only to become frustrated with the results. Sue Ritz invites you to join her in one of her three hour mini workshops in which she will focus on how to use Yupo (a tree-free paper). She will instruct students in the use of this relatively new surface for watercolor, from drawing on the surface to getting the paint to do what you want it to do. Students will be provided with a list of supplies needed, and each class session is limited to 8 total. Students should bring a photograph of what they would like to paint. (Simple is best to start.)
Sue is a self taught artist specializing in animals and has shown her Yupo artworks in the SAWG Gallery. She has practiced art most of her life, and has taken several workshops.
