I am a signature member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild and an Associate member of the National Watercolor Society.
This body of work displays examples of two series of the ocean and trees. When I paint in series, I find that I have a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the places I’ve visited and my connection to them. This intimacy increases as I look at the world through my artistic expression.
I have been painting for 15 years. Although I’ve gained valuable knowledge through workshops, classes, books, and videos, undeniable growth begins as I challenge my creative boundaries and investigate different styles, techniques, and materials. Experimentation is fun because it keeps painting as a discipline fresh and exciting. My subject matter and methods continually evolve and my skills progress as I question myself with “What next?”
