Francheskaa has been working as a professional artist since 2002 after retiring from teaching art for the California and Nevada Public School Systems. Currently she’s an art instructor at The Armory, Chinese Cultural Center in Tucson  and continues to give workshops for members of Saddlebrooke, CPAC, Paper Works, SAWG, CASA and private artist’s studios.

Her work focuses on Abstract Expressionism in acrylic and watercolor on paper and canvases. Her passion is the process of painting, to be free, to be open and “to be one with the painting.”

She is a member of Northwest National Watercolor Society, Southwest WatercolorGuild, Contemporary Artists of Arizona, Tubac Center of the Arts as well as the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild.

Francheskaa has been featured in numerous shows which include Tubac Center of the Arts, Mesquite Gallery,Tubac,AZ; Eramanos, Tucson, AZ; Raincrow  Gallery, Tucson AZ; and McKinley Cultural Arts Center, Reno NV; Art Indeed, Reno NV.  She has won awards in regional, state and national competitions in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Her summers are spent traveling, painting and teaching workshops in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
